Prof. Tomic has been a great chance for us to be accompanied during our first trip to Serbia! He is enthusiastic about the history and art of the medieval Serbian church. Wherever we went he was so happy to provide information and insights, so that we could have meaningful academic discussions. Overall, it helped me gain a deeper understanding of the medieval and contemporary Serbian history. We appreciated the time he spent with us. The speed and the intensity of the information were just perfect. We really appreciated the opportunity to sit on the table with nuns and monks in every monastery and drink tea, coffee and liquor with them was a true privilege. I am forever thankful to be able to have such an experience. They welcomed us so warmly that it was unforgettable. I really would like to come back.
